Work Currently In Progress (Nov 2024)

Currently in progress, this work is oil on canvas.  The scene is from a photograph I took in 2003 of field of sunflowers outside a villa near Sevilla Spain (Seville).  

Artist Statement

Nature is a welcome escape from the office.  In my landscapes, I don't marry reality. Rather than echo strict architecture, I work to capture nature's fleeting sense of beauty.
